






[Anhui 20kt Scrap Lithium Battery Recycling Project Launched] Recently, the People's Government of Taihe County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, released a draft environmental impact assessment report for the End-of-Life Lithium Battery Material Resource Recycling and Reuse Project, marking a key step for Taihe County in building a closed-loop new energy industry chain. Anhui Yueshengda New Material Technology Co., Ltd. will invest 230.51 million yuan to establish a new annual recycling project capable of processing 20kt of scrap lithium batteries in the Fuyang Shoutai New Energy Industrial Park. The project focuses on automotive power lithium-ion batteries, covering both ternary lithium batteries and LFP batteries. After entering the facility at a 1:3 ratio, the project adopts a combined process of second-life application and physical disassembly recycling to maximize resource recovery.
[2.4kt Power Battery Recycling Project Launched in Yunnan] Recently, the People's Government of Wenshan City, Yunnan Province, released a draft environmental impact assessment report for the Wenshan Scrap Vehicle and Used Battery Dismantling and Recycling Reuse Project, marking an important step for Wenshan City in the field of resource recycling. The project, invested 147.51 million yuan by Wenshan Diannan Project Management Co., Ltd., will be located in the Jiamashi area of the Matang Industrial Park in the Wenshan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Upon completion, it will have an annual capacity to process 20,000 units of scrapped vehicles and 108.4kt of renewable resources.
[20kt Scrap Power Battery Processing Line Put into Operation in Hubei] In recent years, the Yangtze River Industry Group has continued to increase its investment in Huangshi. The lithium battery recycling zero-carbon industrial park project is the fifth project it has launched in Xialu District. According to the plan, the second phase of the Yangtze Ruikemei project will carry out the disassembly, fine disassembly, and second-life application of lithium batteries. On this basis, the company will further engage in the recycling of cathode materials and lithium battery production, thereby establishing a full industry chain system covering "recycling and processing—material regeneration—second-life application" for end-of-life power batteries.
[Jiangxi 120kt End-of-Life Lithium Power Battery Comprehensive Utilization Project Announced] Recently, the Ecological Environment Bureau of Xingan County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, released the second information disclosure for the environmental impact assessment of the Jiangxi Woquan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. End-of-Life Lithium Power Battery Comprehensive Utilization and Silicon Carbon Anode Material Manufacturing Project. This marks an important step for the enterprise in promoting the sustainable development of the NEV industry. According to the plan, the completed production line will have an annual capacity to process 120kt of end-of-life lithium power batteries, including 40kt of ternary lithium batteries and 80kt of LFP batteries. Additionally, a new production line with an annual output of 10kt of silicon carbon anode materials and related supporting facilities will be established.
[400,000 mt Scrap Power Battery Capacity Project Lands in Anhui] Recently, the Lu'an Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment issued a pre-approval announcement for the environmental impact report of the Battery Second-life Application and Recycling Center project by Anhui Jingyuan Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. The project will construct a scrap power battery second-life application production line with proprietary equipment. Upon completion, the project is expected to achieve an annual processing capacity of 400,000 mt of scrap power batteries.
[120,000 mt Jiangxi Province Power Battery Recycling Project Lands] Recently, the Xingan Ecological Environment Bureau of Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, conducted the second information announcement for the environmental impact assessment of the Scrap Lithium Power Battery Comprehensive Utilization and Silicon Carbon Anode Material Manufacturing project by Jiangxi Woquan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The project, invested in and constructed by Jiangxi Woquan Energy Technology Co., Ltd., has a planned investment of 2.055 billion yuan. It covers an area of 202.72 mu and will construct an annual processing line for 120,000 mt of scrap lithium power batteries (including disassembly, crushing, and disassembly recycling), comprising 40,000 mt of scrap ternary lithium batteries and 80,000 mt of scrap LFP batteries, along with an annual production line for 10,000 mt of silicon carbon anode material and supporting utilities and auxiliary facilities.
[75,000 mt Anhui Hefei Lithium Battery Material Recycling Project Lands] On October 29, the Chentai Environmental Bureau of Hefei City, Anhui Province, released the acceptance announcement for the "Annual Processing of 75,000 mt of Lithium Battery Material Recycling Project" by Anhui Xunying Renewable Resource Utilization Co., Ltd. The project will construct one disassembly production line, one battery cell crushing production line, three negative pole piece recycling processing lines, one waste positive pole piece recycling processing line, etc., to process scrap LFP battery cells, ternary lithium batteries, scrap anode material, and scrap cathode material. Upon completion, it is expected to form an annual processing capacity of 75,000 mt of lithium battery materials.
[New 80,000 mt Annual Battery-Grade Lithium Carbonate Project Added] Hunan Dazhong Heque announced a new project for an annual output of 80,000 mt of battery-grade lithium carbonate on October 30, 2025, which is scheduled for completion in 2028. Leveraging the newly acquired mining license for the large Jijiaoshan lithium mine, the project possesses dual advantages in resources and technology. This project represents a major upgrade from the original 40,000 mt/year plan, marking the company's deep layout in the lithium battery industry chain.
[Battery Resource Recycling Base Project Lands in Chongqing] Recently, the Management Committee of the High-tech Zone in Tongnan District, Chongqing, issued the first public participation announcement for the environmental impact assessment of the "Battery Resource Recycling Base Project" by Chongqing Yuanda Catalyst Comprehensive Utilization Co., Ltd. The power battery recycling and disassembly recycling production line will be expanded, with the battery monomer line capacity increasing to 4,200 mt/year and the LFP cathode material repair line capacity increasing to 1,600 mt/year.
